This is not a roadmap announcement. HPE is claiming operational, production-grade autonomy today.

For years, the AIOps networking story followed a predictable arc. Vendors would instrument the network, surface anomalies, and hand a recommendation to a human operator who would then decide whether to act. That model has a ceiling. HPE’s announcement represents a deliberate architectural step past that ceiling. The shift from “insight-driven” to “action-driven” operations is not merely a marketing reframe.
