The InfuzeOS architecture’s ability to span file, block, and object storage in a single system, scaling to tens of petabytes, targets precisely the kind of infrastructure complexity that plagues large organizations managing diverse workload profiles simultaneously. For ITDMs, the “set-it-and-forget-it” operational model and guaranteed SLAs for performance, availability, and cyber storage recovery time are the real economic levers. Reducing storage administration overhead is not glamorous, but it is measurable.
The Lenovo parentage is worth pausing on. Infinidat gains access to a global channel and supply chain, while Lenovo gains enterprise storage credibility at the high end of the market.
